Financial Controller
You will support management and department owners with financial information. You will challenge the organization on spend and budget adherence as well as act as an enabler. You are focusing on solving issues rather than pointing them out.
Helping developing and implementing strategies for the Finance function and building a platform to assure future efficiency is also in focus. You are interested in new technologies and new ways of working and will be an integral part of building a modern and agile finance function. We are looking for a team player who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic, co:spirit environment.
Responsibilities and tasks
* Forecast and planning. Seniority in this area is necessary and continuously improving the processes
Coordinate and facilitate prioritizations on total spend
Analyze and challenge global spend * Monthly reporting, consolidation and analysis of actuals. Reporting to Group Finance
* Gather input from business controllers regarding deviations
* Preparing presentations of financials to various stakeholders within the organization
* Involved in process development and improvement
* Cash forecasts and cash reporting
* Involved in drafting business and system requirements on, and by, the Finance function
* Be a link towards our Shared Services provider to aid building an efficient cooperation
* Participate in projects
* Ad hoc tasks aiding the establishment and growth of our function and business
You work proactively and by bringing in your experience, related to primarily budgeting and forecasting, you will help building our finance function. You have strong analytical capabilities and strive to deliver on a high level. You have the capability to switch focus from the details to the big picture and respond to changing priorities. You can present financial data but have the ability to adapt your communication to various stakeholders, also those without financial background. You are a prestigeless teamplayer who not only likes to be part of a team but also likes to contribute to building team spirit and company culture. You should dare to challenge, both others and yourself, and share our passion to do things differently.
Profile and background
University degree, MBA or equivalent and several years of work experience as a Financial controller.
You feel senior and confident in your role.
Excellent Excel skills.
Awesome at creating interesting presentations, preferably with an innovative twist.
Previous experience from IFRS or PRC GAAP is an advantage.
Excellent communication skills. Fluency in English - both oral and written.
This position reports directly to the Director Financial Reporting, Lynk & Co.
The position is based in Gothenburg but collaboration with your Chinese colleagues might require some travel.
