hela Sverige Group Financial Reporting is responsible for the internal and external financial reporting. We work in close co-operation with the other functions at AB Volvo as well as all the Truck Divisions and Business Areas.
Financial Control is a function within Group Financial Reporting that contributes in developing the Financial Reporting process in the Volvo Group with focus on company control and management reporting. A Group Financial Controller is also part of securing the accounting for the respective Business Areas within the Group.
Financial Control also provides support and analysis in the period end closing and we are preparing graphs and tables for various management reports, e.g the Volvo Group Management Report, Group Truck Management report and different reports for other Business Areas.
Main Activities and Responsibilities:
• Analysis and company control for the Volvo Group with main focus on one Business Area. You have a full view on both the Balance Sheet and the income statement for the designated Business Area
• Support the Business Area in the closing analysis
• Closing Activities - monthly recurring reports and analysis
• Management reports

Critical Competences for the Job:
• Business degree in finance
• Experience from Accounting and/or Business Control
• Excellent analytical skills
• Be proactive and have high integrity as well as being able to work independently
• Enjoy working in teams and have good communication skills
• Have an open attitude to work in a changing environment and contribute to a positive atmosphere
• Knowledge in IFRS/FPP
Technical/Functional/Language Skills
• As all documentation is in English, proficiency in the English language is required.
• Extensive user knowledge in Microsoft Excel
• Essbase experience
• Experience in the BCS/BEX/AO application
