Job Description
We are looking for dedicated Financial Controller (Redovisningsekonom) for our headquarters reporting directly to the CFO. As a Financial Controller with Outpost24, you get an important role within our business. You will be responsible for ensuring a high quality of accounting and controlling for several business units within Sweden and abroad.
Responsibilities
• Manage all accounting operations including Billing, A/R, A/P, GL and Counsel, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting and Revenue Recognition
• Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and report variances
• Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements
• Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting
• Research technical accounting issues for compliance
• Support month-end and year-end close process
• Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting
• Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings
• Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls
• Responsible for performing group accounting
• As this role is a key position within our office, you will also be flexible to perform other work tasks besides of your main responsibilities
Requirements
• A degree at the minimum level of Bachelor with a specialty in accounting, or at least 3 years of accounting experience
• Knowledge of taxation submission (in Sweden and preferable in Denmark), day to day accounting, cash-flow reporting for different business units and year-en closing procedures
• Motivational, positive attitude and passionate about IT security
• Good attention to detail
