As contractor and supplier to US and other governments, Saab is subject to regulatory standards, such as Cost Accounting Standards (CAS). This includes requirements on Saab's cost accounting and reporting, and compliance to these requirements is crucial for Saab's business.
Your Role
We are looking for a Financial compliance controller who wants to be part of securing organizational proficiency in Saab's compliance, to CAS and similar standards, across Saab Business Areas/Business units. We are offering an exciting role in the Accounting Services team, with the task to coordinate a wide network in Saab to move compliance a step forward. The role Financial compliance controller includes the main responsibility for;

Securing Saabs compliance to CAS and similar standards across Saab Business Areas/Business units.

Coordination on Group level to ensure consistency in interpretation and implementation of standards.

Harmonization of accounting processes at Saab, including principles for allocation of corporate cost and analysis of allowable and non-allowable cost.

Developing a Saab-applicable handbook relating to CAS and other applicable standards.
*
Ownership for the yearly planning of reporting according to the standards, and coordination of audits.
Your Profile
You will take active part in driving changes, find improvement areas and best practice within the different parts of Saab Group.

You have a strong ability to communicate with all levels of the organization, verbally and in writing in both english and swedish
*
You have ability to coordinate and lead a project with representatives from both business and supporting functions
*
You have a strong drive and analytic sense
*
You are experienced in accounting, and possibly also Cost Accounting Standards
*
Relevant academic degree
This position requires that you pass a security vetting based on the current regulations around/of security protection. For positions requiring security clearance additional obligations on citizenship may apply.
