Sandvik Materials Technology (SMT) EMEA AB is the invoicing company of Sandvik Materials Technology within sales area EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa). We support the sales organization in the daily work by continually developing and striving towards best practices in the financial area and back office functions.
Sandvik Materials Technology (SMT) EMEA AB is currently in an exciting phase with many opportunities and challenges. We therefore need to recruit an analytical and service-minded Accounts Receivable Assistant to join our team in Kista, Stockholm. Job Summary
As an AR Assistant you are responsible for processing accounts and incoming payments in compliance with our financial policies and procedures and you perform day-to-day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, computing, posting and recording accounts receivables data. Solving issues raised by our customers to maintain customer satisfaction and avoid delays is an important part of your mission, and you ensure that all payments are accounted for and properly posted. Additionally, you generate financial statements and reports of our accounts receivable status, perform reconciliations and you proactively work to identify potential problems in individual customer accounts, anticipating where problems are likely to occur and notifying our credit controllers. You will be responsible for our customers in Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

Your profile
We are looking for someone with education in finance or business administration or with experience from a similar position. It is an advantage if you have experience from working in a larger company structure and an international environment with stakeholders spread globally across cultural borders. Previous experience from credit control, trade finance or accounts receivable/payable is also considered advantageous. You are a skilled user of the Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel, and knowledge of SAP or other financial systems is highly valuable.
As you will communicate and work with our Sales Units and customers in the German speaking part of Europe we expect you to be fluent in German in both speaking and writing. In addition, as we operate in a global environment, we expect you to have great English skills.
