Since 2012, Migyston Group evolved from being a small privately owned company in Sweden to become an international exporter of consumer goods to the Chinese consumer market. During 2015, the group turnover of approximately SEK 50 million in Sweden with good profitability, and exported 800 tons of groceries. The company has 20 employees within the Group, including Sweden and China. Migyston Group is in a strong growth phase and needs to recruit a Financial Assistant.
Financial Assistant
Support the Finance Manager in recording and retrieving financial details of the Migyston Group, including maintaining financial records, processing payments, cash handling and salaries. You will have the responsibility to work with Accounts Receivable from our Chinese customers. You will also be responsible to communicate and provide figures and data from our Chinese subsidiary in Zhengzhou. Role of the Finance department . Work closely with the Finance Manager to ensure smooth operation of all finance matters . Support the Finance Manager by inputting into sales and purchase ledgers from source documents . Matching invoices to statements and purchase orders to invoices . Input accounting data into the accounting system with speed and accuracy . Assist in the production of financial statements and applications, preparation of spreadsheets, reports and correspondence as required . Plan, organize and manage own workload to ensure your contribution to the company's monthly financial reporting process is achieved in a timely and accurate manner . Ensure swift payment of invoices . Resolution of finance related queries . Assist with end of year preparation and procedures . Provide financial support to team members . Any other duties that may be deemed appropriate to this role . A certain level of flexibility regarding availability outside normal working hours is required to attend events and private views
We are looking for someone with experience of managing accounts receivable and payable, invoicing, payments, and has experience from the company's accounting system E-conomic. We expect the future Financial Assistant to have experience from the Asian market (China & Hong Kong), including taxes and VAT and payroll. Work experience in an international business is an advantage. The role requires a person with good experience in developing, monitoring and analyzing key performance indicators and reporting models. Furthermore, it is positive if the person has experience in building and developing procedures and processes. We are seeking a person who knows the Chinese and English language fluently in both written and spoken, fluent in Swedish is a bonus. The role requires that you are organized, analytical, strategic, solution-oriented, communicative and cooperative.
