We are looking for a Financial Assistant to our Cash & Banking team.

What will you do?
As a Financial Assistant you will be part of the Cash Management department, who are responsible for Stena Lines cash flow and accounts payable process. We are divided into two teams, Accounts Payable and Cash & Banking.

Since one of our colleagues is retiring we are looking for a new colleague to our Cash & Banking team. We are five colleagues working together at our headquarters in Gothenburg. Some of our responsibilities are bank reconciliations, manual payments, and follow-up of bank agreements and liquidity planning for the Stena Line Group.

Some of your main tasks:

• Reconciliation of bank accounts within the Stena Line Group
• Internal and external payments, manually and via file
• Contact with banks
• Contact our colleagues within the Stena Line Group
• Accounting in our financial system JD Edwards

You will also act as backup for your colleagues in the team.

Who are you?
At Stena Line your personality matters as much as how good you are at what you do. We are looking for someone who is a bit of a perfectionist, detail-oriented and accurate. You are used to working independently but also like working in an environment where cooperation is important. If you are outgoing and easy to cooperate with, you will get on well with your new colleagues.

The must-have's:

• At least a high school degree in Business Administration/Economics
• Experience from similar tasks in a Finance Department
• Fluent in Swedish as well as English, written and spoken (German is a plus too!)
• Good knowledge in MS Office
• Bank experience is definitely an advantage
