We are currently looking for a driven and ambitious high potential interested to join the Finance team at AbbVie as Financial Analyst. This operational role aims at supporting the financial planning and analysis as well as helping with the day-to-day operations. Thie Financial Analyst will report to the Controller and be located from AbbVie?s office in Solna. This is a unique opportunity to get into a role which will enable a fast development within the company!
Responsibilities:
• Ensure timeliness and accuracy of monthly financial reporting and planning/update/LBE (Last Best Estimate) /LRP (Long Range Plan) cycles
• Forecasting & data interpretation
• Scenario modelling and decision analytics
• Analysis of actuals and explanation of variances versus benchmarks
• Participation in month-end close and year-end close
• VAT Review
• Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, laws and financial GAAPs
• Support business teams with financial analysis and perform ad hoc analysis as requested by management
Searched Profile:
Qualifications:
• Master?s degree in Finance/Business
• 1-2 years in a Financial Planning & Analysis role
• Preferably with experience from international and/or matrix organization
Skills:
• Strong Excel skills (modelling, aggregation etc.)
• Strong analytical skills - ability to clearly link financial results to operational performance drivers
• Strong communication skills - ability to effectively communicate with Affiliate, Area and Corporate at all levels
• Problem solving skills and ability to handle multiple and complex tasks efficiently
• Ability to quickly understand relatively complex environment (processes, systems etc.)
• Accountable - steps up and takes leadership to own challenges
• Continually seeks process improvements - challenges the status quo
• Team-player - builds strong relationships and contributes to a positive working environment
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Fluency in English is a prerequisit
