hela Sverige Samsung is now looking for a Senior Financial Accountant to our Nordic headquarters located in Kista. In this role you will be focusing on our current accounting, advising accounting rules, investigation, analysis and quality checks. You will also be responsible for statutory reporting, review and changes of accounting processes and monthly closings. Your most important work tool will be SAP and Excel. You will have a lot of internal contacts and be an important part of Samsungs continuing work with process improvement in your area of responsibility. You will report to our Nordic Accounting Manager.
You will be working with:
• Performing closing activities according to schedule
• Overall responsibility for internal coordination of collection and controls of documentation for auditors
• Quality control of accruals, pre-paid costs, overdue items
• Risk management: FSCS, DC&P reporting
• Ensuring that the company follows rules, guidelines and instructions
• Assistance to other teams in accounting queries
• Checking if bookings and documentation are compliant with regulations in the Nordic countries
• Gathering, calculating and reporting financial statistics to SCB
• Statutory reporting: annual reports, Local Gaap and other legal reporting
• Development of accounting processes
Suitable background:
• At least 4 years? experience of similar tasks
• Academic degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting or equivalent
• Experience from working with international companies is desirable
• A good understanding of tax related questions and their impact on accounting
• Knowledge about SAP
• Excellent communication skills in Swedish as well as English
