About Your Job:
In this role you will ensure timely and correct accounting of financial documents for Stockholm in line with Qatar Airways' Financial policies and internal accounting procedures. You will support the Strategic planning, Decision making, Costing, Project Management, Financial planning and Analysis in the station. Your key accountabilities will include but not be limited to daily sales verification and timely settlements in the designated banks; ensuring receivables are collected on time and payable are paid timely with no penalties; verify/ prepare all invoices as per Finance policies and IAPs; verify/prepare payment analysis for all major direct operating costs; verify/prepare supplier/customer reconciliations. You will also support auditors during station audit and be involved in training new staff.
About You: To be successful in this role you will have to be an Accounting Graduate from a reputed University or equivalent. You would also have successfully completed Intermediate/ Accounting Certificate.. You will need to have an Accounting Experience on Contracts and on Local laws and regulations like VAT, Tax and Payroll etc. of 3-5 years, preferably within the aviation industry with at least 2 years in similar role. You should have a user level experience in Oracle and/or ERP and be proficient with spread sheets.
