The Finance Reporting Analyst role is now vacant and we are looking for an analytical and driven person responsible for analyzing, forecasting and controlling Purchasing Cost Performance which holds a high complexity.
The role provides exposure to some members within the top management team as various reports normally are presented to them once finalized. It also provides great possibilities to create a network with other key finance people within VCC.
The role is located within the Purchasing Finance department which is responsible for driving financial processes, controlling the total cost structure and to deliver Actuals/Forecasts and Business plans for Purchasing. We are 5 people within our team and we offer a good team spirit in a fast changing multinational environment.
Job Description
Analyze and report Cost Performance in Purchasing by major cost category, coordinate input from different areas and consolidate ensuring integrity and consistency of data in terms of both Planning (Forecast, and Business Plan) and Actuals.
Coordinator in Purchasing for issues related to cost reporting; including methodology, timing and resolution of open issues and questions.
Work as the Purchasing Finance interface towards Central Finance, R&D, VCM, IT and other related VCC areas, as well as the Chinese operations
Regular and Ad Hoc presentations for Volvo's upper management and various teams when needed.
Hyperion reporting for Purchasing
Represent Purchasing Finance in various working groups/task forces and support new system and process launches
Qualifications
Deep knowledge and a thorough understanding of Microsoft Excel functionality and effective data handling
Preferably great knowledge of SAP and Microsoft Office applications such as Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Access
Previous experience from different VCC Finance units
University degree in Business Administration or in IT with complementary studies in Finance
Feeling comfortable keeping presentations to Management
Personal Profile
Very good analytical skills, being accurate and paying attention to details as well as having an understanding of the full picture.
High integrity and ability to drive questions and to find and implement solutions
Ability to prioritize between different tasks and keep deadlines
Strong written and oral skills in English
