hela Sverige We are now looking for our next colleague to join us in the Global Finance Process team, part of Polestar Group Finance, based at Polestar Lindholmen office in Gothenburg.
Let us describe the challenge we offer
Working in the Global Finance Process team gives a big opportunity to a wide circle of contacts within Polestar Group. Working both globally and cross-functional, as well as getting a comprehensive view of the financial activities within the group.
Record to Report covers a wide range of sub-processes in accounting, with the purpose to provide timely and accurate reports to management as support for decision making. In this role, you will work closely with the Global Process Owner for Record to Report and our Shared Service Centers to develop and improve those processes.Our Global Finance Process team is also involved in various projects, such as new market establishments and ERP implementations where you will have a key role. For the new market projects, you will act as the overall finance-lead to secure a compliant and functional setup of all finance processes, not just within Record to Report

This position is located at our HQ, in Gothenburg.
What you'll do
• Be an active part in the Record to Report processes globally to continuously strive to improve, develop and standardize processes together with the process owner.
• Develop and improve process flow documentation.
• Be the finance lead for new market establishments - responsible to drive the work in gathering local legal requirements impacting all the different global finance processes
• involved in defining and implementing financial flows
• securing that financial master data is provided and maintained to enable correct financial flows in the systems.
• continuously work on business requirement template and the structure of market roll outs
• Work closely with Polestar Digital Finance to drive system improvements and automatization of the Record to Report processes.
• Support and improve the testing process for updates in the ERP system, together with Polestar Finance Digital
• Implement and drive updates to process improvements and automatization with our shared service centres.
• Help identify and define business requirements related to Record to Report processes.
• Support and contribute to projects within the Finance organization but also cross-functional
• And other ad-hoc tasks
Who you are
To be a great fit for this position we believe you have:
• University degree in Finance
• At a minimum 2-5 years of relevant experience from external audit, accounting, or project management
• Knowledge in ERP systems, and especially its finance modules
• IFRS accounting knowledge
• Skilled in process development and/or project management is an advantage
• Medium level understanding of financial compliance - taxes, VAT, understanding of differences between local GAAP and IFRS.

In addition you should have a strong analytical and problem-solving skills and be comfortable taking and driving your own initiatives
