The flexible and individually customisable transport solutions for logistics and warehouses are manufactured at UniCarriers production facilities in Sweden, Spain, Japan, China and the USA. Products are sold via specialist retailers, as well as directly to end consumers by an experienced team of sales experts. Essential customer sectors are the automotive, construction, electronics, food, logistics and pharmaceutical industries as well as the heavy and manufacturing industry.
Your responsibilities
• Responsible for providing financial advice and support to management
and colleagues to enable them to make sound business decisions.
• Assure compliance with relevant rules and regulations. Produce the required reports and financial information as well as comments and analyses thereof.
• Conduct monthly, quarterly and annual financial closings and produce accurate associated reporting in accordance with local legal requirements as well as the Group requirements to specific deadlines
• Analyze actual financial results against budgets and forecasts. Provide interpretation of financial information with relevant comments. Propose corrective actions and follow-up agreed action plans
• Monitor and interpret cash-flow and predict future trends. Provide cash flow and treasury reporting.
• Liaise with Shared Services Center in Sweden for A/P
• Facilitate the execution of the functional plan by setting clear and realistic objectives for direct reports. Support the professional and career development of self and direct reports through continued professional training, mentoring and on the job development
• Contact person for banks, authorities, health insurance companies, auditors, tax advisors, finance companies and insurance companies
• Assure compliance with local legislation ( e.g. VAT, customs, intrastat, taxation, etc.) and GAAP (local/IFRS) as well as with group's accounting policies
Your profile
• Degree in economics or business administration (university, comparable qualifications)
• At least 5-8 years experience in Accounting and Controlling
• Good know-how in VAT and general tax topics
• Strong experience in providing annual statements
• Experience of different ERP systems (we use ISCALA from Epicor and Navision) and consolidation systems (we use Cognos)
• Excellent communicator with internal and external stakeholders
• An analytical mindset with an attention to details
• Very good interpersonal and leadership skills
• Dedicated, focused, self-driven and hard-working
• Excellent Excel / MS-Office skills
• Fluent written and spoken and English; skills in other languages would also be advantageous. You are interested in having international contacts in your work.
