Do you thrive at the intersection of operational accounting, group reporting, and leadership? Then the role as Finance Manager at Öhlins could be the next step in your career.

Öhlins is in an exciting phase where the focus on business performance, cash flow, and financial governance is greater than ever. We are now looking for a Finance Manager who wants to help develop the finance function in an international environment.

Your Challenge
As Finance Manager, you will have overall responsibility for accounting and financial reporting across the Group. This is a central role within the organization, involving close collaboration with the CFO, management team, and colleagues in our international subsidiaries. You will be responsible for ensuring high quality in accounting, financial closings, and reporting while leading a high-performing finance team. The role combines hands-on operational work with leadership responsibilities, giving you the opportunity to influence processes, ways of working, and the continued development of the finance function.

The position is based at the headquarters in Upplands Väsby and reports directly to the CFO.

Your Responsibilities
In this role, you will be responsible for:

Responsible for all accounting and reporting, including monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements and external reports

Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial statements, reports and forecasts in accordance with GAAP and regulatory requirements

Serve as the primary internal expert on Swedish GAAP (K3), statutory reporting and local regulatory requirements.

Develop, structure and maintain accounting department procedures and internal controls

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support budgeting, forecasting and financial planning

Provide financial analysis and insights to support decision-making and strategic planning

Manage relationships with external auditors, tax advisors and regulators

Stay up to date on accounting standards, regulations and industry trends to ensure compliance and best practices

Lead and develop the accounting team and foster a culture of continuous learning and professional growth

Drive process improvements and automation initiatives to streamline workflows and increase efficiency.

Qualifications

We believe you have:

A university degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field

Approximately 7-10 years of experience in accounting and finance

Experience managing or leading an accounting function

Extensive knowledge of K3 accounting standards, annual reporting, and Swedish regulatory frameworks

Demonstrated experience preparing annual reports for Swedish legal entities

Experience with group accounting and consolidation

Strong systems proficiency and an interest in efficient processes

Experience from an international organization is considered an advantage

Fluency in both Swedish and English, written and spoken as communication and documentation take place in both languages

If you have a background in auditing, preferably with a Big Four firm, we consider that particularly interesting.

Personal Attributes
To succeed in this role, you are a confident and down-to-earth professional who enjoys collaboration and building long-term relationships. You are a natural team player who builds trust across the organization and works effectively both with your team and with other functions within the business. You are structured, detail-oriented, and quality-focused, with strong analytical skills and sound business acumen. You are confident in your accounting expertise, able to balance attention to detail with a holistic perspective, and motivated by developing both people and processes to create sustainable improvements and results.
