hela Sverige On behalf of our client LUMIBIRD, a French leader in the laser manufacturing industry, listed on the Paris Stock Exchange, we are now recruiting a Finance Manager based at the Gothenburg office. This new position will report directly to the Group CFO in France and have a close collaboration with the Swedish General Manager also based in Göteborg. This is an exceptional opportunity to build and manage this new position as Finance Manager.
Main responsibilities as Finance Manager: Reporting to the Group Chief Financial Officer, and in close collaboration with the General Manager of the Swedish legal entity, your main missions will be:
Prepare the monthly, quarterly, and annuals accounts
Set, manage, and drive budget and forecast processes together with operational managers
Develop and improve product cost prices, including monitoring of added value, material costs and overheads by project, product or product lines
Set up control processes and tools, particularly financial, necessary for understanding and analyzing financial results (including monitoring of long-term contracts)
Monitor cost reduction projects for the site's product lines
Analyze variances between results vs budget and propose necessary corrective measures
Develop recommendations for operational staff to improve their management
Evaluate and analyze the real cost price of new products produced by the factory
Monitor investments related to production activity
Liaise with the external accounting firm to ensure that tax and statutory requirements are addressed in a timely and comprehensive manner
Manage payroll obligations including compliance with relevant awards and legislation in Sweden
Your profile:
To be considered for this position you have a university degree in finance, accounting or business. You have at least 5 years' relevant work experience of accounting and management control within the manufacturing industry either from an operational position or from within auditing preferably in an international environment.
To succeed in this position, you understand business and financial issues and know how to report in a relevant and transparent manner.
You are solution oriented with the ability to be propose solutions and challenge the departments on their performance, which will be key to succeed and carry out your mission.
You are recognized for your curiosity, your listening and analytical skills as well as your interpersonal skills. You are eager to learn and develop and have the drive to be part of a dynamic company. You like autonomy while working together within a team and a department. To enjoy this position, we believe you need to have an interest in technology to understand the business.
As this is a small company with significant potential for growth, you also see the advantage of being involved in the business on a broader scale, meaning participating also in other areas of the business when required.
Fluent English and Swedish, both written and verbally is required for this position, where also French is seen as an advantage but is not mandatory.
