As Manager IT Controlling Nordic within the department â'Operations Control' we offer you a great opportunity to manage and work close together with the Controlling team within Vattenfall IT. Your overall mission is securing and optimizing the value and its creation within Vattenfall IT. You base your decisions on available financial information and your creativity is needed when handling the information in the most rational way. In this position you cooperate with international Finance managers IT / international business controllers as well as with the IT department heads. The controlling team consists of six controllers (financial and business control) and two administrative employees. As manager IT Controlling you have to understand the IT business and a good knowledge of accounting is a prerequisite. Your main challenges will be the coordination of the yearly Planning & Control cycle, improvement of the management reporting and provision of financial advice to IT management to enable them to make sound business decisions. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: - Responsible for execution of Planning & Control cycle for both new Vattenfall IT organization (Nordic part). as well as for legal Vattenfall IT entities in Sweden, Finland and Denmark.
• Maintaining a team with qualified and motivated staff. The team works closely together with VIT Controlling colleagues in Germany, Netherlands and Poland.- Responsible for (or participation in) international harmonization / improvement projects.- Close working relation with IT line departments to ensure optimal financial support (business partner).- Accounting cycle / book closing activities in close cooperation with Accounting department.- Invoicing of IT services to Business Divisions Qualifications.- University level / post-graduate in Finance/Administration.- Extensive experience in (senior) Controlling functions, preferably in an international environment. Experience as a manager is a strong advantage for this position.- Excellent understanding of how a financial administration is set up. Knowledge of main building blocks of IFRS.- Knowledge of SAP (BW). Knowledge of Cognos Controller and QlikView is a plus.- Good / Excellent knowledge of English language. In case you do not speak Swedish, willingness to learn the Swedish language is a requirement.- Excellent analytical skills.- Good communicator. Controlling needs to communicate with a large number of stakeholders within and outside VIT. Service / cooperation mindset.- Willingness to travel regularly (approximately twice a month). Your background You have an education in Finance/Administration and equivalent work experience. You are result oriented and see the possibilities in every situation, you know what initiatives to take. Due to the fact that VIT Controlling is still in a build-up phase, quick fixes are needed regularly and you have a hands-on mentality. As a manager you are able to structure and prioritize the work package for the team in a dynamic and fast changing environment.
