hela Sverige Role Summary/Purpose:
This Downstream and R&D finance role is an exceptional opportunity to own and drive profitability and growth across key segments of the Bioprocess business. This role will directly support the Downstream GM to deliver profitable growth of a $1.0B portfolio, along with Bioprocess R&D GM responsible for $65M in spend annually.
Key responsibilities/essential functions include:
Provide financial leadership to establish and accomplish Functional/Operational & financial goals and objectives.
Partner with the GM?s and their staff to drive operating performance and act as champion for strategic initiatives within the organization.
Prioritize NPI investments based on the financial returns and probability of success.
Drive global pricing and profitability analytics for Downstream portfolio; partner with the commercial and operating team to maximize growth and portfolio allocations.
Direct management of 2 full-time employees and drive simplification by eliminating duplicate processes supporting both operations.
Own key operating processes such as portfolio reviews, investment review board, etc.
Partner with ops and commercial teams to drive inventory turns and mitigate obsolescence.
Understand and drive actions in relation to costs (direct and indirect) on financial goals and measurements. Quality Specific Goals:
Aware of and comply with the GEHC Quality Manual, Quality Management System, Quality Management Policy, Quality Goals, and applicable laws and regulations as they apply to this job type/position
Complete all planned Quality and Compliance training within the defined deadlines
Identify and report any quality or compliance concerns and take immediate corrective action as required
Qualifications/Requirements:
Bachelor?s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
Minimum strong years of financial work experience or High School Diploma/GED and minimum very strong years financial work experience including developing forecasts & operating plans and leading business/finance reviews.
EU work permit.

Fluency in English.
