We are looking for a Finance manager to join our fantastic team at Scania's Battery Production!
Scania is now undergoing a transformation from being a supplier of trucks, buses and engines to a supplier of complete and sustainable transport solutions.
In Battery Production we currently have a line for series production of battery packs, modules, two prototype lines for batteries and a line for the production of high voltage cables. We are in the middle of a phase where we scale up and build competence to manufacture battery packs, modules and cabling for tomorrow's e-mobility products.
During 2023 we launched a completely new product range for Battery modules & Packs for Scania's new generation of BEV- Trucks. A completely new production facility is being built to facilitate the next generation of battery production.
We are searching for a Finance manager with a hands on approach to controlling and Finance matters in general. In this role it is key that you take on a big responsibility in leading the way in finding the optimal solutions and methods on how to financially steer the business unit in the right direction to reaching the targets and high ambitions set up.
You will play a vital role in setting the overall administrative processes such as setting the base for the internal Control Processes and implement SAP which Battery Production is the first out to use. You will also have a key role as a member of Battery Production management team.

Your finance team consists of one engaged controller with high knowledge and experience. In this role you will report to Head of Battery Production.

Main responsibility
As a member of the Battery Production management team you stand for stability and control as well for change and challenge. You will lead the work to ensure a good financial control and clear communication of the financial situation regarding the business areas.
We expect you to work closely with the business and actively take part in setting targets for a cost efficient use of resources.
The Finance departments main areas of responsibility are;
Internal reporting, budget and forecasting
Investment process
Governance and development of Battery Production financial model
Work with cost control
To further develop business management/controlling at Battery Production
You will lead the work of the finance department and continue to drive change by supporting the strategy of driving the shift and becoming a reference in the business.
Your Profile
We are looking for an enthusiastic person with strong leadership skills and solid financial background as well as proven track record to challenge and influence an organization to get sustainable results. As a leader, you have a genuine interest in developing people and teams - as well as ability to effectively coach your team. Balancing different interests, e.g. long-term development, short-term deliveries and co-worker's actual situation is also skills you have.
You are business minded and have the capability to convert needs into clear goals and deliveries for the team and surrounding interfaces. In order to reach out and have impact you have strong communication skills both orally and written.
You have a Degree of Master of Science in Business or equivalent with several years of relevant work experience. You are fluent in English, both spoken and written and as well in Swedish. A very good knowledge in Microsoft Office as well as general IS/IT knowledge will benefit your personal efficiency. It is a merit if you have experience of working in the manufacturing industry and experience of larger business systems. Previous leadership experience is meriting.
