We are now looking for a Finance Manager to join our existing Finance team - Market Nordic. Someone who wants to be part, support and drive our Finance optimization journey.

Key Responsibility
You will be part of VFS Nordic AB (78 employees). The Nordic Finance team is 15 employees split in 2 departments Business Control and Accounting located in Gothenburg.
As the Finance Manager you will be the leader for a team of 9 finance experts reporting to the Finance Director Nordic Market. Our leadership principles, Lead with Passion, Perform with Purpose and Transform with Vision, will be your guiding star in succeeding as a leader.
You will define the accounting strategy in coordination with the Finance Director and support the VFS global transformation program. You will manage and oversee the accounting department main processes and ensure that the financial reporting and statements are reported in a correct and compliant manner.
As the Finance Manager you will also coordinate and complete annual audits and ensure the proper accounting methods, policies and principles are established. You will monitor and analyze financial reports and statements including variance analysis vs trends and plans supporting the business proactively.
You will be also part of some projects with our regional or global HQ.
We are looking for the following profile
Previous leadership experience with focus on developing teams.
Proactive and problem-solving mindset with a proven ability to communicate with and influence others
System oriented
Ability to manage multiple tasks and adhere to strict deadlines
University degree within finance
Relevant accounting qualifications
Advanced level of English written and oral.
