The Finance Graduate Program
If you are up for the challenge of developing our future Finance function and want to be a part of the innovative world of Volvo Group, this is the graduate program for you!
During 12 intense months, you will get an end-to-end perspective of our Finance functions and how we co-drive the business, both from a local as well as from a Volvo Group perspective. From day one, you will have a permanent role in one of our organizations, where you will play an active role in daily deliveries. In parallel, you will participate in a number of common training weeks with the other Finance graduates throughout the year, do various job rotations to increase your insights of the Volvo Group and last but not least you will grow as a person. Your professional and personal growth will be supported through individual and team development sessions, mentoring, coaching and feedback.
You will take a deep dive into some specific areas of our business, which will help you get a holistic view and build your future career within the Volvo Group. Besides your manager, who will guide and support you in your daily job, you will have a supportive network of peer graduates, colleagues across the globe and senior leaders to help you excel. How You will make an impact!
As a Junior Business Control Analyst, you will combine financial insight with analytical and technical skills to deliver smarter, faster, and more data-driven decision-making. You will translate complex data into actionable insights, helping leaders across VFS and the Volvo Group make sound financial and strategic choices.
Together with colleagues in Business Control and the broader finance community, you will:
* Automate & optimize routine data processes to increase efficiency, reduce errors, and free up resources for more strategic analysis.
* Develop interactive dashboards and visualizations in tools such as Power BI to communicate key insights effectively.
* Apply programming or scripting skills (e.g., Python, SQL, or VBA) to support automation, analytics, and forecasting initiatives.
* Contribute to financial modeling, reporting, and performance measurement for both financial and non-financial data.
* Support the global planning process, including monthly forecasts, annual budgets, and performance reviews.
* Participate in cross-functional projects that apply business intelligence, automation, and data storytelling to enhance decision-making.

Qualifications
* BSc or MSc in Finance, Business Analytics, Industrial Engineering, Data Science, or related discipline.
* A foundation in financial analysis, planning, and performance management.
* Experience with data analytics or visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar.
* Proficiency in Excel and comfortable working with large data sets.
* Familiarity with programming or data automation (e.g., Python, SQL, or R) and a passion for leveraging technology in finance.
* Great communication skills and the ability to turn data into clear business recommendations.
* Not more than 2 years of fulltime work experience before or after graduation, excluding work during studies.
* A valid study or work permit for the country to which you apply (if not a citizen)
