This is a focal role in the finance organization and our business in Sweden as at the center of the transformation in Hitachi Energy whole. Hitachi Energy is consolidating systems and harmonizing processes. You will be at the heart of this transformation, and you will be an important presence in all global initiatives.
Your responsibilities
Motivate, lead, and engage team members to work together to standardize and optimize the following processes: Fiduciary, Accounts Receivable, General Accounting and Accounts Payable/Travel and Expense.
Commits to customer focus and customer satisfaction to ensure business partners are provided the service levels agreed.
Act as a liaison with the Global Common Shared Service Hub Team in Tallinn: Cash Application, Master Data, General Accounting and Accounts Payable/Travel and Expense.
Drives harmonization and standardization in Sweden in line with Group solutions and best practices. Actively work towards the goal of harmonized and standardized processes throughout the Group.
Drives cross-functional accounting projects seeking standardization and centralization of accounting activities seeking process efficiency, mitigation of risks and cost control.
Enforcing Hitachi Group Accounting Standards, compliance with Hitachi's Accounting and Reporting Guidelines and Internal Controls over Financial Reporting.
Support Budget preparation and internal control in the CSS FO Finance organization.
Lead fiduciary activities for the country, such as coordination with external auditor, quarterly audit confirmation coordination and meeting statutory requirements for Sweden.
Support and participate in safety, compliance, business ethics, Group Charter, communications, and other related activities.
Your background
Master's degree in accounting or finance, CPA, or similar credential
Excellent leadership and people management skills
Experience with management of internal and external auditors
Knowledge of internal controls over financial reporting and internal control procedures
Several years of experience within Shared Service environment
Large, global company experience
Proven experience with cross functional projects
