The Finance Assistant at Urbanista provides support in all accounting and financial tasks at Urbanista. This is primarily managing invoices, payables, receivables, cash planning, monthly closings and reporting. Urbanista is part of Strax Group and therefore there is also interaction with and support from the Group Finance team.
Urbanista is a young and fast growing company that operates in a constantly changing landscape. Therefore, the Finance Assistant role requires a person who is very well structured and organized, and can manage processes efficiently. The ideal candidate is also someone who thrives in an entrepreneurial environment and is solution oriented.
The position reports to the Finance Manager at Urbanista, but also interacts with most colleagues at Urbanista. The position is based at the company HQ in Stockholm, Sweden.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Oversee financial operations, accounting and reporting of the Urbanista business
• Manage invoices, receivables and payables
• Manage bank reconciliation
• Ensuring that the monthly reports are prepared and reviewed
• Support year end closing, annual report and audit process
REQUIREMENTS
• 2+ years of experience with accounting in a similar company.
• Excellent computer skills
• Solid knowledge of Microsoft software and packages
• Ideally experience in Microsoft Navision
