Your work assignments
As Finance and Office manager for the Scandinavian Region you will be accountable for building partnership with internal and external stakeholders in order to capture, understand, propose, and prioritize any demand while giving a high level visibility to relevant parties.
As a local Compliance Ambassador you will be responsible for Health and Safety Compliance as per local country regulations. Your main interaction partners are (internally) Finance Shared Service Center, Compliance Director and Office Services located in Bornem, Belgium, business analysts, legal department and (externally) auditors, suppliers, tax authorities.
Description
Ensure the financial control of the Scandinavian Regional Office’s activities through ensuring implementation of strong finance policies, processes and review of the balance sheet reconciliations at least once a year;
Ensure the management reporting requirements of the office are met, including accurate and timely monthly management accounts forecasts and budgets;
Ensure, in collaboration with the FSSC, that the statutory and regulatory reporting requirements are met;
Coordinate with the HR team the financial aspects of the payroll to ensure timely and accurate payments to staff;
Assist the FSSC in case of tax and other audits;
Ensure that VF policies are followed in the region
Facilities
Ensure maintenance of the infrastructure including facility management, equipment maintenance and asset management;
Manage the company cars and mobile phone in accordance with the VF policy;
Ensure VF Health and Safety standards are applied in offices, showrooms and stores;
Legal
Assist the legal counsel (located in Stabio, Switzerland) for any litigation there might occur in the region
Your background
Experience in accounting including preparing budgets;
Experience in the day-to-day management of an office, including excellent multi-tasking and time management skills;
Excellent communication skills;
Fluent in written and spoken Swedish and English;
Experience of dealing with suppliers and external contacts, including the ability to pre-empt and troubleshoot issues, to negotiate contracts and provide advice based upon some understanding of local contract law.

Establish office effective operations across finance, human resources, legal and facilities areas,
Be compliant with local law requirements in all aspects of its operations including legal registrations, tax, national insurance and payroll, and
Have a pro-active and hands-on attitude.
