Your mission
In this position, you're responsible for performing and following up on field testing of tools for our Top Hammer equipment. As a field technician you visit our customers and test our products. You participate in development projects and forward information and suggestions from customers to Top Hammer R&D. You document the field test result in a technical report in Word and Excel, and present for stakeholders. Development of follow-up methods for field tests and to assist with support in-house testing is also included in your responsibility. You build competence and application know-how in drilling tools and follow developments in the field.
You're based in Sandviken and we offer flexible working location with the opportunity to work from home or other location one or two days a week. At least 50% travel time, mainly within Sweden, is included in the job.
Your character
We're looking for someone with a background within drilling, production or have previous work experience from field testing. Your knowledge is preferably grounded by an education within a relevant field of studies and if you have worked within the mining industry, manufacturing of drilling tools or engineering industry it's highly beneficial. As we're a global business, you also need excellent skills in English, and we consider knowledge of Swedish as an advantage.
Your personality really matters to us and a key in this position is your technical interest. You're responsive, adaptable with customers and skilled at prioritizing your tasks to achieve results and making things happen. As you collaborate with many different people within the organization, both globally and locally, the job calls for great communication skills, excellent teamwork and the will to share knowledge.
