Undertake repair and maintenance of Cummins products in the field. Based remote in Sweden or at Cummins Sweden, Arlandastad
Key responsibilities
Ability to accurately carry out fault diagnostics based on Customer/CSA?s description of the problem.
Completes repairs within target times and without rework following all published procedures and policies.
Submit written records of troubleshooting are repair work performed, parts used, and results obtained at the completion of each repair.
Responsible for maintaining individual set of hand tools.
Correct, timely and accurate submission of Timesheets/Service Worksheets.
Maintain work area and Service Van cleanliness.
Take responsibility for ensuring own safety and follow all Health & Safety guidelines.
Communicate respectfully and professionally with customers.
Maintain Service vehicle records and ensure vehicle maintenance is performed at the proper intervals.
Highlight ?upsell? opportunities to the Customer and ensure that any ?rejected? opportunities are evident on the Service Worksheet before Customer signature.
Undertakes training in line with skill requirements and completes all ?PromoPacs?.
When required, disseminate knowledge and experience to other Service personnel.
Comply with Company and Government environmental legislation.
Qualification
Diesel technician (trade school certificate) or Engineering/Technology degree.
Driver?s license. B
Electrical Technology or Engineering degree for Power Generation Technicians or gained by experience.
Skills and experience
Workshop Service technician (2-3 years minimum).
Minimum of 5 years? experience diagnosing and repairing of diesel engines Mechanical / Electrical experience.
Electrical experience is an advantage.
Customer led attitude.
Good knowledge of English and Swedish.
Problem solver.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
