We are increasing our focus in the local market of Sweden, and we are currently looking for a Field Service Engineer for Turbomachinery to join our team in Gothenburg. You will report in to Head of Field Services Region Europe, based in the UK.
Your tasks
• Execution and Supervision of mechanical works at customer sites, mainly on turbomachinery (repairs, overhauls, modifications etc.).
• Planning, organization, preparation and coordination of such site works with MAN-ES internal staff, with Customers and Contractors.
• Communication with all involved parties during the execution of the site works.
• Professional guidance and instruction of the crew employed (own, clients and/or contractors) during the site works.
• Ensure observation of applicable standards, specifications, regulations and safety measures during execution of the site works
• Perform administration, reporting and documentation for the works performed.
• Ensure all documents, spare parts and required tools for site works will be available at the site for the execution of the site works.
• First response to our customers for any emergency support on MAN ES machinery.
Your qualifications
• Education in mechanical works and turbomachinery knowledge
• Base knowledge on I &C (Bently Nevada, Siemens, etc.)
• Practical experience in performing repairs, overhauls and modifications on turbomachines
• Readiness for travelling, mainly within Scandinavia and the Baltic States
• Agility and flexibility to work with internal, and external, clients/partners and authorities
• Good communication and organization skills, verbally and in writing
• Good knowledge in English and at least one Scandinavian language, preferably Swedish
• Knowledge on the base software (Word, Excel, Project, etc)
• HSE rules and regulations
