You will be responsible for client site calibration and repair for their customers predominantly in Finland, but also Estonia & Sweden. As such it is expected that around 60-70% (140 days a year) of the time will be spent at customer premises (inc overnight stays and some weekends). The main technical focus of the role is to provide calibration & service support for their Conformance Test Systems, but the role holder will also be expected to be able to support other Digital Mobile Radio products.
You must have a proven background (with relevant technical qualification or equivalent technical experience) in Telecommunications Engineering, with particular reference to Radio Frequency & Microwave knowledge and skills. Good problem solving skills including ability to adopt lateral thinking approach to fault finding and problem resolution. Good communication and relationship building skills especially when dealing with customers.
Desirable skills include previous experience in the repair and calibration of telecommunication test and measurement equipment, experienced in Service/Sales environment and the field service role. ?Understanding and use of uncertainty of measurements knowledge and Knowledge of Digital Telecommunications & Optical Communications
