Dako recruits a Field Service Engineer, responsible for installation, service and preventive maintenance on their product portfolio in cancer diagnostics.

You will receive extensive training and education in Dakos product portfolio as part of your introduction program.
Publiceringsdatum2009-12-10Dina arbetsuppgifterYou will be responsible for performing preventive and corrective service tasks in the Nordic region with primary responsibility for installations in the middle part of Sweden. As field service engineer you will also participate and perform installations of new technical equipment at hospitals, diagnos laboratories and research institutions. The position requires travelling on daily business hence as a person you need to be structured and determined yet flexible to handle instant service issues from customers. Typical speaking partners for the field service engineer will be lab-technicians and IT-responsible persons at hospitals.
Utbildning/erfarenhet
We expect you to have an engineer degree or equivalent technical qualifications. The installation and support of Dakos instruments requires rather high skills of IT in terms of networks and domain configuration. You are also skilled in both mechanical and electronical support environment. We will consider practical experience within medico technical equipment as an advantage.
Furthermore we expect you to be highly self-driven being able to set, prioritise and execute your agenda and work tasks. As technical specialist you will support the sales organisation in customer meetings and other technical customer dialogues. You are highly customer oriented and service minded being able to be consultative in the area of Dakos product portfolio from a business perspective.
Experience within project management, international communication and negotiation are also valued assets in this position. You command English at a negotiating level. If you show kowledge in finnish we will consider that as an outstanding qualification. Driving license is a requirement for this position.
