hela Sverige Now we are looking for a new colleague in our team for the position of Field Service Engineer Measure & Analyze Sweden West-Coast.
SUMMARY OF ROLE
The Field Service Engineer is responsible for overall support of our customers instrumentation installed base to insure customers' expectations are met and exceeded to the highest level of professionalism. The individual will be responsible for a variety of duties within a defined territory, on-site at customer locations. You will be required to manage the service needs of our installed customer base for all instrumentation, including first line maintenance and repair services, site installation, commissioning, start-up and after sales support.
SPECIFIC JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
• Carry out installation/commissioning, fault analysis and repairs on Emerson instrumentation, including investigation of persistent or not easily resolvable problems being experienced at customer sites
• Provide diagnostic, troubleshooting, calibration and start up and commissioning services
• To provide on-site customer training where required of Emerson instrumentation
• Be available to support the on-call Rota for instrumentation support
• To assist Sales Engineers in the demonstration of Emerson products to potential customers and to provide guidance in product application and after sales service
• Proactively identify Service/Product opportunities
• Provide, without delay, information for billing of performed jobs
• Keep the workshop(s) tidy, in order and representative
• Maximize the amount of chargeable hours
• Completion of all required reports, certificates and relevant documents
• Full understanding of various service programs
• Ensure that all transactions are screened and filed in accordance with the Company's Trade Compliance procedures and to escalate all questions to the local Gate keeper
• Actively work to ensure that quality processes and instructions are being adhered to
• Other responsibilities or tasks that are within your skills and abilities, whenever reasonably instructed. The business reserves the right to make reasonable adjustments in line with business requirements
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
• Degree in Process Automation or Electrical Engineering (Technical School or University)
• Minimum 2 years of experience in automation in the process industry
• Product and Application knowledge would be an advantage
• PC skills
• Fluent English and Swedish are mandatory
• Drive License for car
• Strong communication skills and business acumen
• Strong team player & self-starter attitude
• Action Oriented, enjoys development activities
• Customer and Project Management focused
