hela Sverige Our current Field Quality Engineer for Dryers is moving on to new opportunities within the company and we are now looking for his successor.
This is key role for us to always improve the reliability of our products and to create better experiences around the world!
Normal day at work:
You will work in a global environment but stationed in Ljungby, Sweden. The quality improvement of our dryers produced in Ljungby, Rayong (Thailand) and Siewierz (Poland) will be your sole responsibility. This role includes many contacts, both internal and external. You are a key communications channels for our service organization around the globe that you will update and make sure that they have a positive experience of us and our service.
Analyzing facts and figures is part of your everyday work and you have the ability to work with large amount of facts/data at the same time. Your findings will be presented in internal meetings on a monthly basis. Travelling is around 15-20 days/year. You will report directly to the Field Quality Manager.
Key responsibilities (Only posted on Open Jobs)
• Understand our products' quality performance
• Listen to our service organization and our technical support
• Handle Weak Signals
• Analyze statistics and reports (QES, PST and more)
• Demand and receive faulty parts and products back for analysis
• Transform into continuous improvement
• Define, prioritize, delegate and follow up quality tasks
• Support with in depth statistical analyses
• Identify training needs
• Inform on improvement activities
• Update public status on ongoing activities
• Distribute market information on implemented improvements
• Protect us from brand damage and liability issues
• Drive and follow up market interventions
• Support Field Q Manager preparation of documentation for SPSAC
• Approve and process invoices according to Quality Cost Policy
• Avoid repeating mistakes in future products
• Bring in market intelligence in product development through e.g. SCR Estimation and participate in FMEAs
• Report on KPIs
Competence and experience:
• Fluent in Swedish and English
• Excellent technical knowledge and experience, both mechanical and electrical
• Solid product knowledge on product type in question
• Problem solving / root cause analysis
• Experience of technical support, service work, laboratory work and / or testing of products in question is a plus
• Computer skills, especially Excel and databases
• Structured
