The department of Field Quality Case Builder is organized within the function Field Quality Analysis (FQA) and is responsible for performing statistical analysis; prioritizing and creating fast preparations of all field quality problems to be resolved for all VCE products i.e. manage the field quality feedback process. FQ Case Builder will be a major part taking the quality escalation to its next improved level.
FQ Case Builder is working in close collaboration with product maintenance teams, the sales regions and technical support teams. FQA as function is also responsible for manage and drive the cross functional machine availability and up time strategy in Volvo CE.
Field Quality Case Builders is present in all main sites and has a pure global activity field with multiple interactions in the field as well inside the company, why travel from time to time is required.
The Field Quality Case Builder is responsible for analyses and reporting of the field quality situation for all Volvo CE products in all regions and markets. The Field Quality Case Builder acts as leader in the Define, Measure and Control phases within the Product Maintenance process.
The Field Quality Case Builder department is looking for Field Quality Case builder with location in Braås (just outside Växjö), Sweden.
Roles:
Field Quality Case Builder Articulated Hauler (ART)
Main Tasks/ Responsibilities / Authorities:
• The Case Builder identifies and drives the field quality activities in the Define and Measure phase together with the regions and the cross functional Product maintenance teams
• Prepare and present project charters and business cases on field quality issues to PM Project Managers
• Create statistical packages and interpret statistical information together with PMT
• Provide PM Managers with enough information to support the Root cause analysis
• Set final priority on Chase-Cases and support PM Project Managers on making prioritization among related quality issues
• Initiate, calculate and evaluate data on extended warranty for decision
• Chair the cross functional Field quality meetings
• Participate in TFR meetings
• Prepare SET reports, evaluate them and elaborate an action plan with PM Project Managers
• Request failed parts return
• Write extended warranty bulletin manuscript

Qualifications required for the position:
• Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent
• Experience from quality or relevant fields in the construction equipment industry
• Six sigma methodology competence or equivalent

• Good understanding of customer and dealer needs
• Travelling
• Strong skills in writing reports and other documents
