hela Sverige To expand our Delivery Team, Vironova is now looking to hire a Field Engineer, who will work with development, calibration, installation, technical support and troubleshooting of electron microscopes in the field.
Main responsibilities:
Your primary tasks will be to set up, test, calibrate, install and maintain microscopes (both software and hardware) at client sites. Teaching and training of clients in basic functions of the microscope is also included. You will also develop internal tools to ensure that the instruments are of high quality and meet the rigorous requirements of laboratory equipment as well as manage internal systems.
The job also includes: client visits, presenting technical demos, internal training and knowledge sharing.
You will report to the Delivery Manager.
To succeed you need:
At least a bachelor's degree in engineering/technology, biology or chemistry and about 3 years previous experience from similar tasks such as:
• Troubleshooting and service of embedded systems
• Good knowledge of Windows operating system, network experience, Windows active directory, SQL database management
• Experience in technical service professions is a plus.
The role has a strong focus on client contacts and will involve a lot of international travel (50-75%), which is right now of course strongly influenced by travel restrictions associated with Covid-19 and might change over time. We are therefore looking for a social, flexible and communicative person who likes to be "on the move" and who enjoys variety in both work and work environment. You must have a valid driver 's license. You should be fluent in English (written and spoken) and speak Swedish.
