As our Field Application Specialist in Sweden will be on leave for one year we are looking for:

Job description
As Field Application Specialist you will be the expert on our products and responsible for planning and performing customer trainings on bioMérieux products as well as the continuous follow up of the customers use of the product. You will provide product support both on and off site. You are expected to travel to customers on a regular basis and check the status of the product together with the customer. You make sure the customer has all the relevant information and that all relevant information from the customer about our products is registered according to our procedures.
As we are ISO 9001 certified it is very important to abide by the regulations, for example for registering and handling customer complaints, questions and suggestion of improvements.
In order to provide good training and support to our customers you need to be able to understand our products at a technical level, have good teaching skills and be thorough in your work towards the company and the customer.
You will report directly to the Supply and Sales Administration Manager Nordic Countries based in Denmark.
You will support mainly Sweden but also travel within other Nordic countries when needed. You will be part of a Nordic application specialist team and support is also provided from a global level, however, you need to be able to work on your own and take own initiative to solve problems.
Desirable background and characteristics
• Experience from a clinical laboratory or other public health care sector
• Very good IT skills - knowledge of LIS programming and/or network set up would be meriting.
• University degree in microbiology or laboratory science
• Fluent in Swedish and English- both written and spoken. Language skills in any other Nordic language is creditable
• Driving license is mandatory (company car will be provided)
• Personal profile characterized by customer focus, result focus, solution orientation and service minded approach
• Good interpersonal skills and cultural awareness
• Self-driven and innovative
• You will be based either in the Swedish office in Göteborg or in a home office in Sweden.
• Flexibility to travel at short notice
