As a Field Application Engineer you will provide the interface between the technical support team and the sales team. Your goal is to support the development of long term relationships with our strategic customers by applying your expertise in supporting the Customer with technical solutions as well advising on improvement opportunities.
The position is based in Malmö but your team and your customers can be spread globally so the role will require travel.
Your main focus will be:
• Specific application projects for strategic customers
• Supporting the sales team in customer meetings both pre and post sales.
• Customer training and technical workshops.
• Active identification of projects and improvements at existing customers
• Commissioning support with Customer projects

You have a minimum of three years' experience in the industrial automation field where you have worked with HMI, PLC, Drives and motion equipment. You will have a basic understanding of C# programming as well as knowledge of CODESYS. Your educational background should be in Automation coupled with relevant practical experience. Excellent knowledge in spoken and written English is a prerequisite.
As a person you take ownership, you are self motivated and independent. You are service minded and you have a proactive approach to issues and opportunities. We also see that you have strong problem solving skills and communication skills supported by a good team spirit.
