PDU Packet Core is strengthening the operative leadership structure with an additional program manager, to take on the responsibility for a new program covering the feature development of our 5G portfolio. This role will be centrally located in the Operations & Programs unit. We are now looking for a highly motivated program manager ready to take responsibility for the PDU wide User Plane Feature Program!
What you will do
You will lead a new program of the size of 50 cross-functional teams developing features from F1 to FG for our dual-mode 5G Packet Core portfolio:
Working closely with the Solution Line organization, you will optimize the development team planning based on the prioritized backlog and strategic intent to hit the market window of new functionality. By maintaining a rolling capability planning window, you will enable the organization to proactively prepare for upcoming needs.
You will facilitate collaboration between development teams and identify and resolve common impediments, to achieve flow efficiency throughout the development cycle.
You will significantly improve our roadmap predictability by ensuring early system impact understanding in close collaboration with the Systems Program, understanding team velocity and visualizing the planning maturity level.
The program organization will be distributed over multiple geographical sites and multiple Development Group line organizations.
You will bring
Extensive program management experience in leading large international R&D programs (>5 years).
Assessed Master project manager according to the Ericsson R&D Project Manager Professional Model, or corresponding proven capabilities.
Ability to steer senior management as well as development teams, to achieve organizational efficiency and delivery of outstanding results to our customers.
Solid track record of delivering complex projects and/or business transformation with an ability to influence people and motivate change
Knowledge about the dual-mode 5G Packet Core portfolio
