For this Consultant position we will develop the work description depending on person chosen with in below three areas.
• 50% work with setting up system functional requirements with in roll as End to End Functional owner
+
50% Feature/Attribute leader support with in Ergonomics in area of Driver position
Or
50% Feature/Attribute leader support with in Driver Interface Design.

All three areas are to set up requirements and validate requirements with in responsible area. To do this the person need to
• Set up investigations and clinics to secure needed background for demands, Interview customers etc.
• Document and communicate requirements locally and globally with in Volvo.
• Follow up and validate requirements with necessary measurements.

Below roll descriptions for Feature leader and End to End Owner
Feature Leader at Cab Engineering (Ergonomics or Driver Interface)
Purpose
Is responsible for a customer feature, establishes feature strategy in Feature Development Plans and roadmaps, initiates and runs AEs in the feature area and proposes and evaluates technical concepts that will fulfil the feature demands.

Is responsible for establishing feature Verification and Validation Plan including all calculations and test activities in project, establishes and signs feature contracts in projects, analyses and compiles results from tests and calculations, and reports feature status to project.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Maintain feature knowledge in feature breakdowns (from level 3 and downwards in the globally stored Feature Structure).

• Maintain feature knowledge in features breakdowns by documented competitor situation and cutting edge awareness about own field (other related products as well as methods & tools).

• Responsible for delivery of Feature Development Plan.

• To break down project prerequisites into measurable requirements, propose technical concepts to be able to fulfil the feature demands, analyse proposed technical concepts for corrective actions when needed.

• Initiate technical development and AE by communicating Feature Changes within Feature Development Plans to relevant Sub-Module Teams and / or Vehicle Module representatives.

To establish global Verification and Validation plan in projects, including all analysis, simulation and test activities independent of project phase.
• To act as the expert in the feature area and to be updated on valid legislation, standards and guidelines. Represent the customer in regulation/standardisation fora (National and/or International).

• To establish and sign feature contracts, report feature status in the projects and to follow up that corrective action is taken.

E2E function owner and Feature Leader Ergonomics or Driver interface Need documented education and experience with in Human machine interface / System Interface design / Ergonomics. The person need to be self-driven and social out going. The individual need to have the self-courage to take dialogs were agreement is not self-written and have the power to say No.
Preferable is knowledge in:
• Catia
• KOLA
• SE-tool *Earlier work as Feature leader or Attribute leader
• Earlier work with Requirement brake down.
