There is now an opportunity for you to join us in the PWTI Simulation and Testing team as a Feature Development Engineer for Exterior Noise.
The team is performing advanced simulation and testing together with component owners and system owners, with the aim to understand and enhance customer features. The team 's main goal is to sustain and strengthen our leading position on heavy duty trucks around the globe.

Position Summary
As a Feature Development Engineer for Exterior Noise you will be directly involved in the development work of our Volvo products and involved in a wide range of our products. You will play an important role in the technology shift towards more environmentally-friendly trucks using electric drivetrains.
As a Feature Development Engineer you will secure, maintain and develop solutions to meet the Exterior Noise Feature Requirement incl. balancing between different areas. You will support product owners and Feature planning specialists in their roadmap work to plan for future technology solutions to meet upcoming legislation and vehicle requirements. You will set engineering targets on the different sub systems and support, follow up and report the progress to make sure that the complete truck will fulfill the noise targets. You will secure, maintain and develop the feature knowledge overtime for different brands, segments, markets and applications. You will also be responsibility to make a V&V plan for all systems/components to make sure the target is fulfilled.
The work is challenging, but you will not be on your own, you will be working hand in hand with your NVH colleagues in the Volvo group. You will be working closely with a team of senior NVH experts and NVH specialists.
Who are you?

You are a team player, with an eye for the bigger picture. You take responsibility for your work and you are always looking for ways to improve your way of working. Speaking and writing in English is not a problem for you.
