You will work as a consultant in the automotive industry, working with the troubleshooting of electronics in vehicles. The goal is to support mechanics in finding faults in electronics and software in an efficient way. As a fault tracing engineer, you will develop fault tracing procedures, containing both text and illustrations, to guide the mechanics through the troubleshooting process. The troubleshooting will cover functionality in both the engine and electronics. You will also define demands on the R&D department by specifying which diagnostic functions should be implemented to support the workshop.

Requirements
Basic qualifications
• Technical background: MSc, BSc, or similar
• Work experience from the automotive industry

Preferred additional skills, personal traits, and experience
• Good ability in multi-tasking and independent problem solving
• Analytical, thorough, communicative, and result-oriented
• University degree in computer science, electronics, or similar
• Personal interest in electronics, embedded software, or engine technology
