hela Sverige We are looking for a Project and Commodity Buyer for Aluminum Casting team within the fantastic Casting and Forging department. You will be responsible and accountable for Global Partners delivering to Volvo's European plants working closely with the segment leader to have the best reliable supply base delivering to Volvo the best Quality, Delivery, Cost, Feature, Technology, Sustainability & Risk management.

Core Responsibilities
Taking the driver seat and own the business that you will be responsible for:
Build long term relationship and trust with Suppliers and cross functional teams to manage the Marco economic challenges
Contribute to segment strategies and ensure cross functional alignment, Bring together innovations in your scope
Stimulate the business knowledge within the team (Facilitate best practices sharing, cost breakdowns, cost drivers, spend analysis, etc.)
Drive all relevant activities to deliver on QDCFTSR* targets during project, production phase and after production phase
Anticipate and understand the supplier financial situation and take strategic decisions
Drive negotiations to get the best solution for Volvo
Monitor, identify and mitigate risks in cooperation with SQ&D team
Manage project performance reviews with suppliers and stakeholders
Perform daily purchasing activities related to production orders, logistics and financial flows to the suppliers
Be challenging, questioning, to make us/our partners rethink our ways of working

SQ&D: Supplier Quality and Delivery
Qualifications
Solution oriented
Enjoys Negotiation
Good communication skills
Self-driving and work independently
University degree, preferably in engineering or business
Minimum 3-5 years purchasing experience, preferably in automotive
Fluent in English both written and spoken
Casting and Forging experience within automotive will be an added advantage
