We are looking for a Factory Manager for the Power Transformers unit in Ludvika. In this role you will manage all aspects related to operations of a local manufacturing unit including the full scope of Production, Engineering, Procurement, Quality & Operational Excellence and Logistics.
Your responsibilities
Implement Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) and business compliance standards and regulations within the units.
Drive quality improvement through target setting, monitoring and benchmarking to continuously improve processes.
Implement the global business unit/product group manufacturing strategy in the country within the area of responsibility.
Develop proactive strategies to increase business profits and capacity, customer satisfaction and operational effectiveness.
Ensure achievement of established targets, through oversight and definition of improvement actions as needed.
Lead and manage manufacturing function and operation teams and processes.
Deliver operational/project targets (e.g. OTD, lead time, quality, etc.) to improve net promoter score (NPS).
Ensure a safe working environment, and continuous improvement in HSE process and integrity performance.
Implement and ensure compliance with global and local standards, rules, tools, policies and processes related to operations/project execution and shares functional best practices and lessons learned across the organization.
Ensure that the area of responsibility is properly organized, staffed and directed.
Your background
You hold a University Degree in Engineering or similar
At least 5 years or more of experience in a senior management role of manufacturing unit across multiple cultures
Strong expertise and knowledge and management of production plans, Lean certifications and mindset
Strong work ethic and excellent interpersonal skills
Strong leadership skills and long experience in similar complexities and size
Fluency in English, both written and spoken
