Background
Alfa Laval in Ronneby is one of the sites that is part of Alfa Laval Technologies AB, with approximately 480 employees. In Ronneby, we develop and produce compact heat exchangers. On site are several specialist areas such as R&D, manufacturing and production digitalisation. The site manufactures more than 500,000 heat exchangers per year. Alfa Laval is on a major growth journey, and this new opportunity is focused on a new factory set-up following recent company investments.

About the job
As the Factory Manager you will be responsible for driving the creation of a new function; developing and coordinating the respective unit. You will ensure that the factory is set-up to meet short to mid-term goals and customer expectations. You will actively work with operational interfaces, and drive improvement initiatives. As part of the management team on site, some of your responsibilities will include (but will not be limited to):
• Driving factory set-up including processes, purchasing and production.
• Securing performance, development, and output of the factory, including financial responsibility.
• Implementing policies, standards, values and culture.
• Implementing strategies for increasing production.
• Securing results of continuous improvement activities.
• Implement and maintain supply chain processes together with Supply Chain Management.
• Initiate supplier development activities together with central support functions.
What you know
• It is essential that you are fluent (writing, speaking, reading) in the English language. Swedish, as a language, is considered as a major bonus.
• A relevant academic background (i.e. a degree in industrial engineering, civil engineering or similar).
• You bring with you several years of experience working within a similar function at a high level, knowing how to prioritise customers and how to manage processes and how to lead teams. Ideally, you are well versed with welded technology and have been responsible for setting up new functions / entire factories.
• Relevant knowledge of ERP systems, order systems, planning systems.
• You are comfortable in using Excel at a high level.
