We are now looking for a Facility Manager to our shopping centre in Västerås, Erikslund Shopping Centre
About the assignment
As Facility Manager your main task is to ensure the asset value of the centre by uninterrupted operations, optimal housekeeping, technical and building maintenance. You will ensure that all work is carried out according to legal requirements and other company concepts and standards.
Other areas of responsibility include:
• Analyse and propose actions to increase tenant and visitor satisfaction related to operations.
• Ensure, analyse and follow up on facility measurements, software and reports, distribute key figures to different stakeholders and take actions on findings.
• Procure and manage service providers and contractors for the centre operations.
• Facilitate technical, safety and insurance related audits. Analyse, give recommendations and take action based on the result.
• Optimize safety and foresee risks in the retail destination.
• Work proactively to optimize the operating costs by identifying cost savings.
• Develop and support guest service and maintenance management.
• In cooperation with Leasing, provide operational support in negotiations with tenants.
• In cooperation with Construction and Technical recourses, optimize technical standards and demands.
About You
To be successful in the role as Facility Manager, we see that you have great ability to create trustful relationships by bringing people and business together. You have the ability to translate business and technical needs into operational actions and solutions. You will have continuous contact with vendors and suppliers making sure all the service agreements are up to date and following current regulations, why it is important that you are organized and enjoy taking great responsibility.
You also have:
• 3-5 years of work experience in the field of Property or Facility Management.
• Commercial mindset and change readiness.
• Service mind and team focus.
• Very good leadership, communication, presentation and organization skills.
• Great communication skills in Swedish and English, both in written and spoken. You will communicate in Swedish daily but all documenting and reporting will be done in English.
We are a small management team with a strong team spirit operating in the shopping centre. Your role will play a big part in the upcoming projects by securing that we have the optimal technical and building maintenances for the centre. We welcome you to join us on this next adventure!
