An exciting opportunity opens within Development & Technology Industrial Base Engineering. Our Key Technology area is development of converting solutions and capability to produce packaging material in a sustainable way with high productivity and quality.
We are looking for a Technology Specialist that will have a key role in developing new solutions for our laminators with focus on rheology, extrusion and film forming of polyolefins and barrier polymers.
The position is permanent and based in Lund and will include some travelling.
What you will do
You will be part of a central competence organization that develop the extrusion coating & lamination process and support our factories in their operations. You will work in a specialist network where new knowledge building and sharing is key. The Specialist role is also to support our agile development teams with optimized solutions
This role will put you in contact with key internal and external stakeholders across different functional and international borders. You will be reporting to the Competence manager in Lamination & Webhandling.
You will focus on
Support projects with knowledge, technical solutions, planning and tests
Build and share knowledge and increase the capabilities of the organisation
Support factories and be part of solving technical issues
Who you are
You are analytical and organised which makes it easy for you to create a structure and keep track on many parallel issues. You also like the details and want to understand problems as much as solving them. Communication is important for you, and you are comfortable with both spoken and written English. Collaboration and knowledge sharing comes natural and you enjoy working with different kinds of people.
Your educational background is a relevant university degree giving you good understanding of polymer chemistry, physics and rheology. You have several years of experience from extrusion coating and lamination and are used to deliver in a team environment.
