• To create the most appropriate and desirable designs within each project
• Support project timing by delivering beautiful cutting edge designs with speed and efficiency
Main Tasks
• Proposing innovative exterior solutions which can lead to future development for the Volvo Brand
• Leverage design skills to communicate ideas to all stake holders
• Collaborating with other team members to create elegant designs which are most appropriate for our customers
• Evolve the Volvo brand
Responsibility
• Producing, presenting and communicating design proposals using multiple medias
• Recommend new methods for digital communication of designs
Competence Requirements
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Industrial or Transportation Design from a Design University
• Experience in executing pre-production or advanced concepts
• Highly skilled at translating sketch to digital models
• Proven ability to develop high quality designs
• Skilled at Alias/Auto Studio, Maya and Photoshop
Preferable 2 or more years' experience developing automotive design models
