hela Sverige Business Control is a global staff function within Group Truck Sales and is responsible for financial planning and performance management. Scope includes financial targets and estimates, monthly management reports, performance dialogues (BRM) as well as governance of financial policies and compliance. The function is also responsible for credit management including, credit governance, trade finance and supporting export financing activities.
Business Control consists of 5 functions: Controlling & Planning, Vehicle Sales Controlling, Aftermarket Controlling, Credit Management and Financial Policies & Compliance.
We are now posting the position as:
Export Financing Controller
The Export Financing controller will work closely with the Sales Financing Advisor based in the market and finalize, manage, follow-up deals initiated by the Sales Financing Advisor.
The position reports to the Director Credit Management
Main activities and responsibilities
In this role
• You will work closely with the Sales Financing Advisor based in the markets and finalize, manage and follow-up on deals initiated by the Sales Financing Advisor.
• You will coordinate and gather all necessary documentation: commercial contract, bills of exchange, Promissory Notes etc.
• Manage relationship with local law firms in order to obtain necessary legal opinions
• Coordinate actions with other departments.
• Contact with banks in order to ask for rates as well as discounting of Promissory Notes or Bills of Exchange
• Contact insurers
• Follow-up the financing until it has been fully repaid, including costs, provisions, past dues, collection etc.
• Update database and portfolio report
• As part of the sales support team, share and take initiatives to improve processes.
Profile
The role requires a good understanding of credit management processes within the Volvo Group. You have a degree in Business Administration or similar and minimum 5 years of experience in relevant areas in combination with strong interpersonal skills and a high degree of flexibility.

• Structured with good analytical skills
• Strong team spirit
• Customer and business oriented mind-set
• High proficiency in written and spoken English
