Giesecke+Devrient Mobile Security Sweden AB is a global leader in providing innovative security solutions. We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Export Control Officer to join our team. As the Export Control Officer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring compliance with export control laws and regulations, safeguarding our assets, and supporting our international business operations.
Responsibilities:
Support the company's overall export compliance function, ensuring compliance with EU, UK, and US export control laws and regulations.
Develop, implement, and maintain the Export Control Compliance Program and Procedures to meet current and emerging business needs.
Provide timely hardware, software, and technology jurisdictional classifications and export/import license services.
Safeguard company assets through the maintenance of an internal control system.
Advise management on developments in export control laws and regulations and provide export perspectives for program and business planning.
Ensure adherence to company policies and group policies across subsidiaries.
Conduct employee training on export control matters.
Support the development, implementation, and maintenance of company export policies and procedures.
Provide timely export and import license and authorization services and administration.
Engage with suppliers, customers, and external stakeholders on export control issues.
Apply for Swedish export licenses for Nordic and Baltics customers.
Ensure compliance with national and international foreign trade and export control laws, such as the Wassenaar Arrangement, EU Dual-Use Regulation, and US Export Administration Regulation (EAR).
Report monitoring activities to the MS Global Export Control Officer (GECO/EKB).
Create and update the "Export Control Master Data Sheet" for the Subsidiary based on changes in the legal situation.
Monitor export control processes and conduct plausibility checks for the Subsidiary.
Success Criteria:
Ensure accounts and processes are in order to meet export deadlines.
Support export decisions to meet compliance requirements.
Assist managers and employees in efficient and compliant export processes.

Taking initiative, displaying a strong sense of responsibility, and promoting camaraderie will be essential in this role. Furthermore, you will excel in building strong relationships with key players both within our organization and externally. Your outstanding communication skills, coupled with your ability to listen and understand different perspectives, will contribute to effective teamwork and successful presentations.
We are seeking a highly qualified individual to ensure responsible and compliant handling of goods, software, and technologies in accordance with global Export Control Law. As the Export Control Officer, you will play a vital role in maintaining our company's export compliance function, developing and implementing the Export Control Compliance Program, and providing timely support for hardware, software, and technology jurisdictional classifications. Your expertise in export control laws and regulations will enable you to advise management, train employees, and interact with suppliers and customers on export control matters.
