Surveillance provides efficient solutions for safety and security, for surveillance and decision support, and for threat detection and protection. The portfolio covers airborne, ground-based and naval radar, electronic warfare, combat systems and C4I solutions, and traffic management systems.
Business Governance within business area Surveillance is located in both Gothenburg and Järfälla.
Business Governance has the overall responsibility for Export Control matters. Today we are 8 employees where of 7 work with Export Controls and we now need to expand with one more colleague to work with Export Controls at our Järfälla site.
Your role
As Export Control Manager your work tasks may include:
Classification of information, hardware and software in accordance with applicable export control regulations
Administration of applications at Swedish and foreign authorities
Education and training of employees in export Control
Follow-up and reporting on licenses and deliveries
Analysis of Swedish and foreign export control regulations, in particular US and EU
Implementation of directives, processes and other demands from Saab Corporate
Coordination of quality assurance and process improvements
Development and improvement of our efficiency
Participating in implementation of support systems
The daily work is event driven, formulated by incoming requests from the whole organization. The tasks will range from support in the choice of components in the development phase, to follow-up of returned export control goods. You will work close together with colleagues at our department in both Gothenburg and Järfälla.
Your skills and experience
You are a person with integrity and you like to work both in a team and independently. In addition, you need to be meticulous in your work and have good communication skills, verbally and in writing, in both Swedish and English. You are also interested in working with both internal and external relations. Education, training and counselling are essential parts of the work tasks and we therefore put a lot of emphasis on personal characteristics.
We expect that you have a university degree in engineering, economics or law, or equivalent work experience. Preferably with an Export Control Manager Certification from Exportkontrollföreningen.
