Job description:
Principal / Senior Principal
Your responsibilities:
Analysis of planning related business processes along the supply chain.
Design and implementation of state-of-the-art, client specific solutions in SAP Advanced Planner and Optimizer (APO), covering business as well as functional aspects: requirements gathering, process + system design, process integration, configuration, customizing, testing.
Preparation and execution of client workshops and presentations for requirement gathering and fit gap analysis.
Elaboration of documentations, training documents as well as execution of user trainings.
Sparring partner for the client and project management as well as team lead responsibilities.
Essential requirements:
Higher education degree in Economics, Information Technology or equivalent.
Significant work experience as an external consultant, managing end-to-end supply chain transformation projects utilizing SAP APO
Extensive implementation as well as support experience in the different areas of Demand Planning (DP), Supply Network Planning (SNP), Production Planning Detailed Scheduling (PPDS) and/or Global Available-to-Promise (GATP).
Sound understanding of APO planning techniques using Optimizer, heuristics, CTM based solutions, CIF interfaces set up, user exit and BAPI implementations, advanced Macro workbench functionalities and safety stock planning methods.
Solid understanding of at least one major process improvement methodology such as Lean, Six Sigma or Kanban and experience with the ASAP implementation methodology.
Excellent communication skills and proven ability to deliver to tight timescales.
Willingness to travel and an excellent command of the English language.
