1) Leading distributed data storage, a large relational database applications, deployment, mass data storage technology will be applied to the structure and reasonable;
2) Data storage and applications industry have a deep understanding of and ability to control and can demand a reasonable choice for data storage technologies, to quickly identify key technologies and lead the team to break through;
3) Optimize the data storage system configuration and improvement, and constantly make use of new technologies to maximize energy efficiency data center, storage / access efficiency, optimal deployment cost.
The work will be done in very close cooperation with our HQ offices and frequent travelling will be required as well as a possibility to be permanently placed in Shenzhen or Xi'an in China.
Qualifications and experience
1) More than six large data warehouse design and development experience;
2) A distributed cluster environment more than three years experience in designing data storage;
3) Good all major data storage systems such as Sybase, Hadoop and other system implementation, management and maintenance, familiar with database security, data management strategies.
4) Be familiar with IBM/SUN minicomputer and PC server (UNIX, LINUX), there have been BOSS, BI system large-scale data storage project implementation experience is preferred.
Proficient in Linux, Unix operating system, management and maintenance.
5) Familiar with the industry's major large-scale data storage systems such as SybaseIQ, GreenPlum and so on, including data modeling, monitoring, performance optimization and maintenance.
6) Be familiar with distributed storage technologies such as HDFS, Hbase preferred.
Background desirable
1) The relevant Database field over six years in well-known companies such as Google, Yahoo, Sybase and other related business work experience preferred.
2) The carrier involved in building operation and maintenance system for large data center work experience preferred.
Skills requirements
The candidate must be able to communicate fluently in English, both verbally and in writing.
Good communication, documentation and presentation skills.
Well organized and structured with project management skills, responsible and self-motivated.
Willingness to travel overseas.
