We are now looking for an experience video engineer to join the Core Technologies Media team. If you are a person that enjoy finding solutions on tough challenges together with your co-workers, you could be the one we are looking for.
WHO ARE WE?
The Core Technologies Media team are responsible for video and audio. The video team are experts within video encoding and video quality, both very important in the video surveillance industry. The team has a built up a deep and broad understanding of different codec standards that is used finding new innovative solutions.
To work together, share knowledge and help each other is important and the most prominent core values of our team are creativity, trust, humility and inclusiveness.
If you join our team you will work with:
Develop and maintain our video platform. This includes driver and algorithm development. Our video platform is compatible with both internal and external HW platforms.
Find new innovative video solutions. With input like external feedback/requirements or internal ideas we develop new functionality and features that will give value to our customers.
Understand and monitor trends, costumer demands and new video initiatives, to be able to take the correct long-term decisions.
The typical employee in our team works in roles such as software engineer, technical lead or technical expert. As your manager, I will listen to your personal goals in order to put your professional experiences to our best use, allowing both your knowledge and motivation to drive us forward.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
We think you are an engineer with some years of experience and good knowledge of software development. You have a strong technology interest and have preferably worked with embedded Linux systems, video handling and firmware development. You like to find innovative solutions on though challenges even if the impact is outside your responsibility area.
You are familiar with working in projects based on agile working methodologies. You embrace teamwork and have the ability to work unsupervised. As a person we think you are positive, curious and have an open mindset.
You preferably have a Master's degree in computer science, physics, automatic control, electrical engineering or similar and are a dedicated individual with a strong personal drive and skill to learn.
Your English is fluent, both written and verbal.
